Tasting Notes
APPEARANCE: Deep red with a vibrant purple hue.
BOUQUET: Aromas of redcurrant and satsuma plum intermingle
with delicate herbal tones.
PALATE: Concentrated black fruits and cassis characters are
underpinned by a touch of subtle mint, and the wine
finishes soft, silky and with wonderful length.

Winemaker Notes
Regarded as one of the wettest growing seasons on record, 2017 experienced high levels of rain, which helped to flush soils and ensure minimal irrigation was required. This saw the growth of beautiful, lush and healthy canopies, slightly above average yields and resulted in a later than usual harvest. The fruit from this vintage showed excellent color, character and optimum varietal flavor.
