What is it that we love about Italian wines? Well, Italy is one of the great wine countries of the world. Its climate offers an abundance of viticulture diversity and many different varieties of grapes. There are 20 regions throughout the country and grape varieties specific to each of the 107 provinces. Italian winemakers are continually looking for unique and rare indigenous grapes resulting in an abundance of delicious flavors. Each native Italian grape has its own unique character, taste, and texture. With some estimates of 2,000 native grape varietals, there is certainly an Italian wine for any person's taste. What also contributes to this is that Italian wines are extremely food-friendly, as well as being enjoyed on their own. What is it that you love about Italian wine?
